When all is calm and bright
When peace on earth seems possible
In the silence of the night
This is a time for giving
A time for sacrifice...
A time to be forgiving
While trying to be nice
It's time for rejoicing
For singing songs of cheer
Which calm our fears and bright us
Hope for the new year
It's a season for sharing
A time to reminisce...
A time for friends and loved ones
To share a hug or kiss
There is a season of the heart
That's blessed by God above
When we decorate for Christmas
With ornaments of love.
